Okta Customer Identity Cloud, built on Auth0, handles authentication and authorization for your application's customers: registration, email and password login, social login, passwordless via magic link or passkey, MFA, and session management.
Developers integrate through SDKs for web, iOS, Android, and backends, so product teams do not build and maintain their own login system. The login page is customized to your brand.
Built-in security — bot detection, brute-force protection, breached password detection — and compliance with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect reduce the risk that usually comes with custom login implementations.

Frequently asked questions
Do customers have to create new accounts during migration?
No. Auth0 supports automatic migration on first login (lazy migration) from the legacy database, so customers keep using the same credentials.
Is user data stored in Indonesia?
Auth0 offers a choice of data regions. We help select the region and configuration that fits your company's data policy and applicable regulation.
How is this different from Workforce Identity?
Workforce Identity is for employees and internal partners; Customer Identity is for the external users of your products, with different needs in scale, brand customization, and developer experience.
Does our development team need special skills?
